The Barkhamsted Historical Society is a non-profit, all volunteer organization working to preserve and share the history and culture of the Connecticut town of Barkhamsted. Our Society was founded in 1968. Officers and board members serve for a 12 month period starting in September. Officers and board members for the 2014 to 2015 term are:

The Historical Society board meetings are normally on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Squire's Tavern (100 East River Road, Barkhamsted). These are business meetings with no program, but all are welcome, especially if you would like to become active in the Historical Society.
